Gene Expression is just like the concept of football. They both have similar properties and functions to help them accomplish their goal.
The nucleus holds the DNA and RNA for gene expression just like the coach holds the information for the plays and the drills the players do.
Protein is a molecule composed of polymers of amino acids joined together by peptide bonds. This is like the entire team because of its uniformity and bond.
The cytoplasm is the gel like substance that holds the organelles together and this is where the process of gene expression occurs. The football field can relate because this is where everything happens in the games.
Ribosome is a particle composed of protein and RNA and serves as site of protein synthesis. Just like the quarterback delivering passes and completing plays.
The mRNA carries genetic information from nucleus to ribosomes in the cytoplasm. The offensive coordinator delivers plays to the quarterback so he can perform them.
The tRNA brings the correct amino acid to the ribosome. This s like the running back carrying the ball to the correct endzone.
Amino acids are just like the offensive line. They support the quarterback and the ball. They're linked together through bonds.
Amino acids build proteins, and proteins are life-sustaining macronutrients. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein.
Translation is the process in which ribosomes create proteins. Just like driving the ball down the field because were in the process of getting to our destination.
Transcription Is the first step of gene expression in which a particular segment of DNA is copied into RNA. This could be like first down because its the first step into getting a touchdown.
