Storyboard Text

  • A colony is a territory or a area. The colonies were located at North America.
  • The British government wanted to tax the colonies because he wanted more money to pay his bet. The colonies responded by protesting.
  • The phrase "no taxation without representation" ment that people wont pay their taxes.
  • The Boston Tea Party  is when sons of the liberty dressed up as Indians and got on British ships and dropped their tea over board.
  • The Boston Massacre is when the colonists started to insult a British officer and the British solider steeped up to defend his officer. The solider butteted the colonists with his musket. Than everybody surrounded the solider and the solider got scared and fired at the colonists.
  • war eventually happens between the colonists and England, because British were taxing the colonist a lot on things they use everyday.
