  • Once upon a time, there was a king and his name was King Minos. He lived on a lovely island called Crete and had all a king could ever want.
  • Well Hello, I am King Minos.
  • King Minos decided to send his navy to Athens a very small village across the sea.
  • I am going to send you (my navy) to Athens.
  • The King of Athens gave King Minos a deal, so King Minos said yes. But the Theseus his son said only 6 boys will be going because I am going with.
  • I will make you a deal King Minos, If you do not attack for 9 years I will send 14 kids to fight the monstrous.
  • I am going with them sir. Only 6 boys and 7 girls need to go.
  • Here is a ball of yarn. Tie it to the door of the maze so you know your way out.
  • Yes ma'am! Thank you very much.
  • Theseus told all the children to stay by the door to make sure the yarn did not come untied. While he defeated the Monstrous.
  • Everyone stay there and hold the yarn so it doesn't untie.
  • Theseus defeated the Monstrous and they sailed home happily ever after.
