  • Oops!
  • I chose these two scenes because they are very important parts of the book. Myrtle's death is important because Tom Buchanan thinks it was Gatsby, so he tells George who he thinks it was. In all reality it was really Daisy who had accidentally ran over Myrtle. This scene brings us to the next one actually. George somehow tracked down Gatsby's car and walked around to the back of his house where he was on a pool. George shot and killed Jay Gatsby then committed suicide. Sad ending but interesting none the less.
