Storyboard Text

  • You were right Joseph! Free in 3 days! You have a gift young man!
  • In 3 days the baker will be free and the butcher will be executed.
  • My dream! What does this mean?
  • I know someone that could help!
  • Don't worry!
  • While Joseph was in jail he met the pharaohs butcher and baker. He interpreted their dreams and predicted that in 3 days the baker would walk free and in 3 days the butcher would be executed.
  • We need some grain the famine has spread.
  • The Pharaoh kept on having the same dream. It was about 7 plump cows and 7 barrels of crop and then 7 skinny cows and 7 barrels of bad crop. The baker whom was there when the Pharaoh had one of his dreams brought Joseph as he interpreted dreams. He interpreted that the 7 plump cows and 7 barrels of good crop represent 7 years of an abundance of food but then the 7 skinny cows and barrels of bad crop represent 7 years of famine following.
  • This is my prized goblet.!
  • The Pharaoh then asked Joseph what to do. Joseph said save as much crop as possible in the 7 good years so that there will be food in the 7 bad years. Joseph was then made sure of organising and checking the storing of crop. He became highly respected by the Pharaoh.
  • Joseph! You're alive!
  • Joseph didn't realise that the famine had gone beyond the borders of Egypt. One day a family from Canaan came and asked for some crop. Joseph was shocked to see that they were his brothers but they did not recognise him. He asked if this was all of the family and they said their youngest brother was at home and one of the brothers was killed by a mountain lion. He got mad and took one of the brothers captive and told them to bring back the youngest brother with them.
  • Joseph saw his younger brother and saw how much he had grown and was shocked. He gave them some crop. He then had dinner with them and showed them his prized goblet that the emperor had given him. He then told his servant to put the goblet in Benjamin's bag and interrupt them on their way home and tell them that they had stolen so that Benjamin could stay with him.
  • When the guards bought Benjamin back to the palace he was sentenced to death but Judah stepped in and said that he would take Benjamin's place. This was when Joseph revealed himself to be their brother. They then went and packed up all their things and brought their father to Egypt to reunite with Joseph. They were all reunited.
