Storyboard Text

  • Today, we will be doing a density lab. Each fluid has a different density. The more densest liquid will fall to the bottom, and the least dense liquid will float to the very top.
  • This is similar to how the Earth's layers were formed. I'll explain.
  • Before Earth was formed, there were millions of rocks and other space matter floating in its place.
  • All of the space matter and rocks gathered together and created...
  • THE EARTH!
  • The Earth has 4 layers. The densest layer is the inner core, and it is the innermost layer. This is followed by the outer core and the mantle. The least dense layer is the outermost layer and is known as the crust. Similar to the lab, each layer is in order by its density.
