Storyboard Description

about the elements

Storyboard Text

  • One day, my friend Isabelle the physic numerologist and I went to an Element reunion party.
  • Isabelle was going to help me find a stable partner. She knows all about the other atoms and will be able to help me. She started by telling me that I have 3 protons, 3 electrons, and 4 neutrons.
  • Most importantly, she told me I have 1 Valence Electron that would help me become stable!
  • HI, I'm Lithium, and this is how I became stable
  • The first Element Isabelle introduced me to's name was Argon.
  • I guess he's not interested!
  • Argon said he was already stable on his own. He payed rent for a nice apartment and had a good job.
  • I'm happy on my own!
  • So then I went on to meet Oxygen.
  • After meeting Argon, Isabelle explained why it wouldn't have worked between us
  • Argon is a noble gas. He's not interested in others. You have 1 electron you can lose, but Argon already has his stable 8. Let's try someone else.
  • Oxygen was nice, he just wasn't very interesting. We didn't have much in common and I wasn't interested. He didn't seem to like me that way either, so we just agreed to be friends.
  • Oxygen was nice, but his Valence Electrons didn't fit with Lithium's. He only has 6, she has one. That only adds up to seven. Still unstable!
  • Sorry, I just don't see you that way.
  • That's fine. It was nice talking to you!
  • Finally I met Chlorine. I instantly liked him! He was really nice and seemed to like me a lot too. After the party, we met up many more times.
  • I knew they would like each other! Chlorine has 7 Valence Electrons, so with Lithium's 1, they become stable!
  • Sure!
  • Do you want to go see a movie sometime?
  • A year later...
  • I now present to you; Lithium Chloride, or LiCl
  • Chlorine and I got married and became stable! Oxygen and Isabelle attended.
  • The end!
