NEWTONS FIRST LAW
The surfboard does not move until he or she paddles and is pushed by the wave. This is an example of an object staying at rest until acted upon by an outside force
It determines how fast the surfer moves, based on the rate the surfer is accelerating, the mass of the board, and the force of the waves and/or the surfer paddling
NEWTONS SECOND LAW
NEWTONS THIRD LAW
The surfboard and surfer stay afloat because the buoyancy of the board pushes up off the water whilst the surfboard and the surfer pushes down on the water due to gravity
