  • Title: My Brothers Accident By: Ingri Romero Lovo
  • One Sunday morning my family went to the soccer field. My brother and dad were playing with the soccer team. While they were playing one of the soccer players kicked the orange, white, and black soccer ball really high and hit my brother’s head. The ball had too much air and it felt really hard like plastic. When my brother got hit he fell down and he looked like we was asleep.
  • "Your son needs head surgery."
  • "Do it so he can be ok."
  • My dad called the paramedics. I heard him talking on the phone. My dad said “ We need an ambulance quick!” “What the emergency sir?” asked the dispatcher. “My son got hit on the head with a soccer ball and he is unconscious!” exclaimed my dad. “Don’t worry sir were on our way.” said the dispatcher.
  • After a while the paramedics came to get my brother to the hospital. While they were getting my brother in the ambulance me and my sisters started crying. My mom heard us crying and said “Follow the ambulance to the hospital.” My older sister had to drive me and my other sisters to the hospital. We had to follow the ambulance to the hospital. The ambulance was ahead of us.
  • Then, when we got to the hospital my mom said “The doctors have to check if everything is okay with him.” When the doctor had checked him he spoke with my parent and said “Your son needs head surgery.” My parents spoke to the doctor and said “ Do it so he can be okay.” My parents had to sign a paper so the doctors can have their approval. My mom said “Take your sisters home. It’s getting late.” So she took us home.
  • hen the doctors were done with the head surgery, the doctors said “He needs to take medicine so he can get better.” My parents went to get the medicine and then they went home. My parents got home around 8:00 p.m.. When my brother got out of the car with my parents he looked weak, wobbly, and shaky. He also looked very pale. After a couple of days taking medicine he felt better. The lesson I learned was to be careful.
