Storyboard Text

  • Option 2: Not say anything and let Andy feel bad. This option hurts the feelings of others so it isn't the best way to go.
  • Annoying Andy: Hey guys! What are you guys doing here? Do you know where the fiction books are? Wow, that seems like an interesting book Patrick.
  • Option 3: Tell Andy that we could talk or hangout later since Natalie and I are busy right now. This option is a better choice since it will not offend Andy, but Natalie and I could still finish our project.
  • Negative Natalie: Andy just go away. Can't you tell we are busy? We don't have time to listen to you. We need to finish our project.
  • GREEN LIGHT - Now that I have exercised self-control and made a decision it is time to take action. I should make sure to talk to Andy with a calm and respectful manner.
  • Hey Andy, Natalie and I are actually a little busy finishing up a history project but we can definitely catch-up later. Natalie didn't mean to be so rude we were just in the middle of a conversation.
  • RED LIGHT - It is time to stop and think. Natalie's reaction to Andy was not justified. I shouldn't react impulsively like her. I should control my actions and use the traffic light model.

  • Oh. Sorry guys, I didn't mean to interrupt. I'll text you later Patrick. Bye!
  • You're right, I was too harsh. Next time I should use the traffic light model before behaving rashly.
  • Natalie, I think you overreacted a little bit when Andy showed up. Next time try to exhibit self-control and behave respectfully.
