Special 7 Restaurant
Here you can learn about 7 special quadrilaterals while eating!!
Welcome to the Special 7, where you learn about 7 special quadrilaterals while you eat. This is where you will be seated.
Hi. I'll be your waiter today. If you look down you will notice that you have two different napkins. Ma'am yours is shaped as a rhombus and Sir yours is shaped as a kite. Which is two types of quadrilaterals.
A kite has one pair of opposite congruent angles which makes it a quadrilateral because it follows at least one of the 5 rules.
A rhombus is a parallelogram with opposite equal acute angles, opposite equal obtuse angles, and four equal sides and because opposite sides are congruent it is a quadrilateral.
All parallelogram have to follow at least one of these rules to be called at parallelogram. The five rules are opposite sides are congruent, opposite sides are parallel , opposite angles are congruent, diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other, consecutive angles are supplementary
What are the five rules?
