  • When Elizabeth Cady Station and Susan B. Anthony where told they couldn't enter a building where a debate was being held because they where woman they where angry. They then had a tea party between just the two of them. At the tea party they decided that woman should have rights and they where going to do something about it.
  • The two women decided to hold the Declaration of Sentiments. They created a list of all the things that men take away from them, some of which where natural rights. They got 100 of signatures from women and even men. 
  • In the 1821 Willard's centenary College for women opened. Just between 1821 through 1872 more than 12,000 women attended. Women where able to get an education just like men.
