Leonhard Euler was born on April 15, 1707. In Basel Switzerland. He then moved to Riehen later.
He showed a high interest in mathmatics. His father was a pastor and his mother was the daughter of a pastor.
Leonhard went to school at the University of Basel Switzerland.
Euler married his first wife Katherina Gsell. After getting a divorce he married Salome Abigail Gsell. He had two daughters and a son.
Euler contributed to pure math. He also contributed Geo and Trig.
Today we use Euler's equasions and studies in school. Adults also use it for their jobs and calculating sizes.
