Storyboard Text

  • This storyboard is based on the life of Boo Radley in the book TKAM. In the first parts of the book boo never came out of his house and this was a mystery to the kids and this drew them to always try and get him to come out of the house. " he said it begun the summer dill came to us, when dill first gave us the idea of making boo radley come out" (pg.3)
  • The kids are walking home after scout had a pageant and the were attacked  by a man with a knife and the kids knew that it had to be bob ewell. Lucky scout was wearing her pork costume and it stopped the knife from cutting her, but her attacker is pulled away. "run, scout! run! run! jem screamed." (pg.351)
  • After the kids got home heck tate informed atticus that bob ewell was found dead under a tree.  Scout knows that boo was the one who killed him. "he's dead all right, said mr.tate. he's good and dead, wont hurt these children again" (pg.358)
  • As jem is being carried home scout turns and sees a man standing on the corner. She realizes that the man on the corner is boo radley. " his lips parted into a timid smile , and our neighbors image blurred with my sudden tears. "hey boo" i said" (pg.362)
  • Scout takes boo to their porch. Mr.heck insists that the whole death was an accident, that he fell on the knife. "mr.ewell fell on his knife?" (pg. 370)
  • Scout takes boo to go see jem and then she walks him home and she realizes that she will never see boo radley again. He gave us two soap dolls, a broken watch and chain, a pair of good-luck pennies, and our lives. "But neighbors give in return. We never put back into the tree what we took out of it, we had given him nothing, and it made me sad" (pg. 374)
