Kay and Wart set off through the woods in search of their quest, and came upon a man named Little John.
"I shall take thee to Robin 'ood."
Once Kay, Wart, and Little John met Robin Wood and Marian, Robin Wood told them of the Anthropophagi, who had kidnapped the Dog Boy and the Wat. He was planing on rescuing them and bringing an end to the Anthropophagi, and was wondering if the Wart and Kay would like to tag along and help out. Although he reminded them that this would be dangerous, they decided to come.
When Robin Wood called in all of his men to form troops of attack, he put the Wart and Kay in the group of Maid Marian.
Once they came upon the nest of the Anthropophagi, they witnessed them in their hideous natures, beginning the sacrifice of the Dog Boy and the Wat. Soon however, they realized that they were being watched by the troops. So, they attacked. One of them attacked the Wart and knocked him unconscious.
After Wart woke up, he found that they were back at Robin Wood's camp. They had decided that it was time to return the Wart and Kay to Sir Ector's castle, and said their goodbyes. Wart was very tired from his injury so the nurse told him to go to bed immediately.
"I am so glad you're back, I was starting to get worried."
After Wart, Kay, the Wat, and the Dog Boy returned to the castle of Sir Ector, the Wat and the Dog Boy had become friends, both living with the dogs in the kennels after Merlyn had returned the Wat to his previous sanity. Wart was feeling better about his injury and Kay was continuing to be tutored by Merlyn.
