The main character; Annie will be on the top of a hill at South Weald country park, looking down over the park. We will have an arc shot as a close up to reveal her facial expressions and it will also reveal what she is looking at which becomes symbolic after we see the flashback. This will be in black and white to reflect her mood.
This is the flashback that Annie has from on top of the hill. This is shown in colour as it symbolises her happy thoughts, it also is used to show a clear change as we are going back in time however it is in the same location. This is where the close bond with the dog is established.
We then see her in the present as she is now looking at a derelict shop, we first don't see her facial expressions as we want the audience to engage at what is being shown.
This is the flashback she has after looking at the shot, Annie and her mum are shopping, they are happy. We could potentially film this in Mr.Simms sweet shop.
Here we see Annie outside a house, the dog is seen for the first time (in black and white) and if the audience haven't already made the link that its her in the flashbacks, they have now.
Here we see the flashback that follows after she has looked at the house. It is her birthday, we are focused on Annie and how happy she is. There is atmoshperic sound to reveal she is a part of a loving family but we do not see them.
