Let me Introduce you to my good Friend Anubis, the god of the dead, and the son of RA
Anubis has the head of a Jackal. Jackals were attracted to the smell of the dead. Since Anubis is the God of dead, that's how he got the Jackal as a head
I'm Anubis, I guide the spirits of the dead in to the afterworld
I was worshiped more then a normal god you can say. Egyptians loved their gods, and the dead, so I was a very important god
I am Carved in many Tombs in Egypt, they thought that having me on the tomb would help protect them in the after life.
I am the deity that could be seen throughout all of ancient Egypt
Osiris took over many of Anubis' job's as a caretaker and protecter of the dead. Then he became known as " He who is before the divine Booth"
