This storyboard does not have a description.
Benvolio and Mercutio are walking around town on a very hot day, when Benvolio mentions that if they were to bump into the Capulets, a fight would surely break out.
“The day is hot; the Capulets, abroad; And if we meet we shall not ‘scape a brawl”
Benvolio and Mercutio encounter the Capulets, Tybalt, and Romeo. They begin bickering. Romeo refuses to battle Tybalt, so Tybalt begins battling with Mercurio. Romeo orders them to quit fighting in the streets of Verona.
“Gentlemen, for shame! Forbear this outrage. Tybalt,Mercutio!”
When Romeo attempts breaking up the quarrel, Tybalt gives Mercutio an injury. Tybalt and the Capulets rush away, and Mercutio sends for a doctor.
“I am hurt. A plague o’both your houses! I am sped.”
Later, Benvolio delivers the awful news to Romeo that Mercutio has died.
“This day’s black fate on more days doth depend. This but begins the woe others must end.”
After the death of Mercutio, Romeo is outraged when Tybalt approaches him. They begin to battle.
“Mercutio’s soul is floating right above our heads. He’s waiting for you to keep him company on the way to heaven.”
During their battle, Tybalt falls and dies. Benvolio warns Romeo to leave or else he could get in trouble with the Prince.
“Romeo, away, be gone! The citizens are up, and Tybalt slain.”
