Medgar Evers was African American Civil rights organizer.Before, he was drafted in war and fought both France and Germany during World War ll. Later became involved in Regional Council of Negro Leadership. He tried his best to end discrimination between whites and colored skin.
Evers raised his profile with the NAACP. In 1954 the Supreme Court made a decision in the famous Brown v. Board of Education case. This case later ended segregation in schools. It tool a while to fully effect.
Because of Medgar Evers people of all skin tones are now able to go to the same schools as one another. More dreams will be achieved and life would be better for everyone.
