This is Tomikos home where she lived until she was seven. It was definitely a full home she lived here with three siblings and a dad and her mom until she died.
This is Tomikos moms room where she died with her family all around her. Tomikos father was glad she died when she did because the war was about to hit Okinawa and the family was most likely to split up.
This is where Tomikos brother Nini died from a stray bullet. The siblings tried to bury him the best they could and Tomikos siblings told Tomiko to give Nini a proper burial if she could.
This is the cave where Tomiko her blind grandmother and her grandfather with no arms or legs lived for a little while. Tomikos grandparents were disabled due to the war.
This is where Tomiko held the white flag and walked through the battlefield and tried to get the Japenese to surrender.
This is where Tomiko and her sisters met again and reunited.
