Storyboard Text

  • Hello, My name is Nick.
  • Hi, my name is Jordan Beaker.
  • I wonder what he's doing?
  • Oh my bad old sport! I'm Mr. Gatsby!
  • Nick Carraway just moved into a new house in West Egg. His cousin Daisy lives very close to him, so he decides to go over to her house for dinner one night. Here he meets Jordan Beaker, who he later has a relationship with, and Daisy's old husband Tom Buchanan.
  • On Nicks way home from Daisy's house he sees his neighbor Jay Gatsby, a very mysterious man, just standing there. Nick in shock looks way for a few seconds and when he looks back he's gone.
  • One day, Nick got a letter saying that he was invited to one of Gatsby's parties. Gatsby liked to have a lot of parties where people from all over would just show up. Nick went to his first one with Jordan. All of a sudden Nick starts talking to a man, when he realizes its Gatsby.
  • SHE NEVER LOVED YOU ANYWAYS!
  • OH YES SHE DID!
  • Nick and Gatsby start to hang out and become friends. Nick realizes that Gatsby likes Daisy, and he wants to talk to her, so Nick invites Daisy and Jay over at the same time. At first it was awkward, but then as the day went on it got more normal. This is the beginning of Jays and Daisy's relationship.
  • One day Nick, Tom, Daisy, Gatsby and Jordan all decide they want to go on a little date. After a lot of arguing they finally decide where they want to go. Jay and Daisy ride together in his nice yellow car, while the others follow in the other car.
  • While at dinner Gatsby and Tom get in the biggest fight. Apparently Tom still liked Daisy and so did Gatsby. Gatsby goes off on saying, how she never loved him, and he never should have gotten to marry her. Then Tom went off on saying, how she did love him, and that Jay is some big criminal
