Storyboard Text

  • (4.5.13)
  • I must needs wake you. Lady, Lady,Lady!
  • (4.1.41-46)
  • O, shut the door! And when thou hast done so, Come weep with me, past hope, past cure, past help
  • Come, is the  bride ready to go to church?
  • Ready to go, but never to return
  • Nurse has come to wake Juliet before her wedding but she discovers her cold and un moving. She cries out for lady Capulet in distress.
  • (4.5.36-37)
  • Hath death lain with thy wife. There she lies, Flower as she was, deflowered by him
  • Juliet's tone is distressed and helpless for she doesn't want to marry Paris, but her father is giving her no choice.
  • (3.1.56-57)
  • Romeo, the love I bear thee can afford No better term than this: thou art a villain.
  • This is situational irony because friar knows that they think she is dead and he knows that she isn't dead.
  • (4.3.15)
  • I have a faint cold fear thrills through my veins
  • Capulet informs Paris of Juliets sudden death. He compares her to a flower that's essentially lost her petals or deflowered.
  • Romeo is to blame because if he had stood up to Tybalt, or explained why he didn't want to fight him he wouldn't have been banished for killing him.
  • Juliets soliloquy she is unsure of whether or not to take the vile. Shes nervous it might not work but she takes it anyway because she wants to be with Romeo.
