  • Where could my phone be?
  • Marcus Jenkins plays basketball for Evanston Highschool. He stands "6,2" tall, which causes him to be a dominant re-bounder and the star of his team. Marcus also goes to the gym twice a day to practice his shot.
  • Today was the most important day of Marcus' life, today was the Illinois State Championship for Basketball, and Marcus would be competing in it. During Marcus' drive to Champaign, IL for the game, Marcus' car broke down. They were in the middle of no where.
  • Marcus' father whipped out his phone, when he realized he it had run out of battery when he left it on for directions. Marcus reached for his phone, but he felt nothing, so he started searching around in his bag. He checked every pocket and still found nothing. He looked by the backseats and found his phone lying on the ground below him.
  • Marcus quickly grabbed his phone and called a car repair shop near where his car had broken down, the Mechanic came quickly, repaired the vehicle and was able to supply Marcus' father with a phone charger for himself. Marcus was back on his way to Champaign.
  • It was a good thing Marcus was to be at the court 45 minutes earlier, because he just got there in time. He ripped off his button-up pants and entered the game. As usual, Marcus dominated the boards with 15 rebounds, yet he pulled off a triple-double, scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists. They won 82-79, with a game-winning and-one bucket.
  • Marcus and his team where going crazy, and by the time the team was done partying, everyone had left the stadium, except for, of course, the fans. Marcus left the court with a sense of pride, that even when tough times come, for example, when your car brakes down, you must persevere. Even when what you may be persevering for seems impossible to reach.
