  • This castle hath a pleasant seat.
  • The air is delicate.
  • Duncan Meets Lady Macbeth
  • See, see our honored hostess!--
  • Lady Macbeth Thanks Duncan
  • For those of old, and the late dignities heaped up to them, we rest your hermits.
  • King Duncan arrives at the Macbeth's and is admiring the castle. Banquo notices that birds are nesting on the castle walls, which indicates there is a pleasant breeze.
  • Where is Macbeth?
  • Where's the Thane of Cawdor? Fair and noble hostess, we are your guest tonight.
  • King Duncan greets Lady Macbeth and tells her that the trouble he is causing her is a sign of love.
  • The Macbeth's Serve King Duncan
  • Your servants ever have theirs, themselves, and what is theirs in compt to make their audit at your Highness' pleasure, still to return your own.
  • Lady Macbeth assures King Duncan that everything the Macbeth's do for Duncan is nothing compared to the honors he has brought them.
