Storyboard Text

  • I remember it happened in 2006.
  • But why?
  • Hey Dad, today my science teacher was talking about how Pluto isn't a planet! When did that happen?
  • Well because Pluto is a dwarf planet.
  • No, it means it's cleared its "cleared the neighborhood"
  • What's a dwarf planet? Does that mean it's little?
  • This means it has not become gravitational  dominant and it shares its orbital space with other bodies
  • Oh...
  • But scientists are still debating on this definition
  • That's the only  reason why?
  • So?
  • No. One of Pluto's moon, Charon, is mostly half the size of Pluto.
  • Astronomers recommend that the two objects should be treated as a binary system rather than a planet.
  • Well, I just wish Pluto was still a planet.
  • Well, you  heard the facts.
  • Goodnight!
