The Three skeleton Key, by George G. Toudouze, is a short story that has ups and downs through out. First three men decide to work at a light house which warns big ships of dangerous reefs nearby at night. the men see a large ship heading straight for them, and wonder if there is a crew on board. The ship crashed on shore and a million rats ran up to the light house that the men were already in, locking the doors and windows. The rats eventually ripped through the tin seal in the window and swarmed Itchoua, the "captain". The coast guard was signaled and a ship full of meat came and all the rats swam to the meat boat, but it was set on fire and all the rats died.
Why is that ship head straight for us? I hope they know that there is dangerous reefs.
