  • Early Life: Joan was a 13 years old girl. She had a normal childhood attending mass and praying frequently. Then voices and visions started when Saints Micheal, Catherine and Margret suddenly. Joan's voices gave her a daunting task to help Charles and France.

  • French Army: When Henry's death in 1422, the dauphin Charles instead that he and not infant son, was the rightful king. The Feudal lords of the powerful province of Burgundy helped the English seize northern France. Since the 11th century French kings had been crowded in Reins, but the English controlled the land around the city.

  • Battle of Orleans: Joan's first challenge on the way to north Reins was to flee the city of New Orleans. In the spring of 1429, Joan guided Charles troops toward Orleans, which the English that had it under siege for six months. At a monastery near New Orleans held by the English, French soldiers attacked. When they were all attacking Joan go hit with an arrow in the shoulder. She pulled it out and went on fighting.

  • Captured by English: At only five in the evening she launched a surprise attack. When the towns mayor saw the English troops approaching he closed the drawbridge trapping Joan outside to be left with the English. The Burgundian leaders captured her and threw her into a prison.
  • Why
  • Trial: The English and the Catholis church put Joan on trial in Roven for witchcraft and for Heracy. The court made accusations against Joan and in May, to save her lifeshe signed a coffession. A huge crowd gathered in Rouen on May 30, 1431 to watch Jan get burned at stake. 
  • Why are you all letting me get burned when I won a lot of the battles.
  • Death\After: Charles Vll remained king for 40 years forced the English out of France and united the country again. During that time Joan's life became a legend. She inspired her country and helped to restore the throne to the French King.
