  • I will follow the laws of Creon because I am scared
  • Ismene, I need your help giving Polyneices a burial!
  • A man has buried Polyneices!
  • It Was You!
  • I found the culprit
  • I am not afraid of death!
  • You will be sentenced to death!
  • Antigone's and Ismene's brothers, Polyneices and Ediocles, both died in a fatal dual against each other, but the town of Thebes decided only one of the brothers can get a proper burial. So Antigone plans on secretely giving her other brother a proper burial with assistance of her sister Ismene, but Ismene doesn't agree in doing such a rebelious thing.
  • You need to quit making rational decisions!
  • I will not listen to a schoolboy
  • Creon gathers up the elders to justify that he can't honor a hero and a traitor at the same time. The Sentry comes before Creon with bad news, he is scared of Creon's bad Temper. The Sentry tells him that a man has somewhat buried Polyneice's body.
  • Why has my father done this to me?
  • The Sentry brings the culprit of the burial back, and it is Antigone. Creon questions both Antigone and Ismene, and he has sentenced them to be locked up and Antigone killed.
  • I am cursed and all of my familt is dead,
  • Haemon has come to speak to Creon about his rational decisions and reasoning. Creon and Haemon argue over this topic, then HAemon says he will kill himself, but Creon think it is a threat to kill him.
  • Antigone is sentenced to die in a stone vault. She expresses her feelings about her father and mother mingling to the Chorus.
  • Since Creon never buried Polyneices's body, disease has came back to Thebes. Creon goes to see the oracle Teiresias, and he predicts that the people close to him may die, because he didn't bury Polyneices and he locked Antigone up. The Chorus tell Creon to let Antigone go and build a tomb for Polyneices. When Creon gets there Antigone has hanged herself and Haemon is laying in tears by her, Haemon gets up to fight his father, but accidentally stabs himself with his sword and dies. When Creon gets back to his house he noticed that his wife has killed herself too.
