Storyboard Text

  • It was a stormy night and all that could be seen were the lights from the city. In the woods was a family, a mom, dad, and a girl. The girl was 9, her name was Alexis. The family had decided to go camping this weekend so that they could get out of the city and see nature again.
  • ALexis’s mom went of to see what was happening, but when she went out of the tent she found her husband dead on the floor. Her mother tried to scream but only a small screech came out. And when Alexis heard this she ran out of the tent but only to find 3 men standing before her, she noticed that they were very discordant.
  • Lexi must have fallen asleep in the den because when she awoke the light of dawn blinded her for just a moment. But when she could see again she realized that there was something in front of her. It was small and shiny, but it was also very old and rusted. It almost looked like a tooth shaped medallion. And when she got a better look at it she realized that that was exactly what it was.
  • When they lived near the countryside the family was always out and about. But since Alexis’s father got a job promotion about a year ago they hadn’t been outside much. So the family made a tradition that every few weeks they would camping in the woods just outside of the city. The family had always come to this one spot but for some reason this time it felt different. The rain had put out the fire so Alexis’s father had gone out to fetch some wood. Soon after her father had left the tent Alexis and her mother heard sirens.
  • She then decided that she would stay in the woods and she would do what she could to survive. But first she would have to get all of her things from the campsite without anyone knowing. Lexi knew that there would be police watching the campsite hoping to catch whoever had shot her parents, so she determined that it would be best for her to go at night fall.
  • One of them was hovering over her mother with a gun to her head. The men didn’t seem to see Lexi, but she saw them. She groped in the dark struggling to hide. She then heard a gunshot. Lexi turned away, she was too scared to do anything she couldn’t preclude it, so she ran. The men saw her but before they could even get a good look at her the sirens got louder and the men begin to jostle, hurrying off further into the woods. Leaving Lexi hiding alone in the dark in what she thought was just a dug up hole but what turned out to be a wolf den.
  • Lexi had evolved into a wolf, it was a whole new perspective for her and she enjoyed it. She was closer to nature and everything seemed so much more beautiful. She then heard a voice, it was the alpha wolf. He told her that his name was Chann and that he wanted her to join his pack, that she was special.
  • Lexi then picked up the medallion, but before she could put it on it seemed to send out a wave of blue pulses that made her shiver. Lexi thought nothing of this, in fact all she could think about was her parents, she had to make sure this wasn’t just a dream and that she was sleep walking. But as Lexi started walking she saw that it wasn’t a dream, her camp site had been closed off by caution tape that must have been put there by the police. At that moment she realized that she had nowhere to go. Lexi had no other family, she was all alone.
  • When she turned 11 she had learned how to control her wolf abilities in human form. Like how to use her claws and fangs while she was still in human form. During the next few months she learned to use her night vision and sonic hearing. “Was this what Chann meant when he said that I was special, did he know that I was capable of all these things?”
  • She just wanted things to revert back to the way they were. So when the sun set Lexi laggardly snuck into the site but before she could get to her tent, the moonlight revealed a pack of grey wolves. Lexi was terrified at first but then the wolves seemed to bow to her and show her a sign of plaudit. She then bowed back in acknowledgement of their presence. One of the wolves came up to her, Lexi crouched down to get a better look at the wolf. This wolf seemed to be the pack's alpha, and when he got close enough to her the alpha put his paw on the medallion and a ray of light arose from it.
  • He and the rest of the pack would teach and take care of her until she was ready to rejoin the outside world. Chann spoke again and calmed her with an adage. Lexi agreed and the pack ran off into the dense forest back to their den where they would be raising her for life as a wolf. Over time Lexi came to find out that the medallion she found had granted her special abilities. In the first few months that Lexi was with the wolves she had learned how to change her form back and forth from wolf to human.
  • As Lexi mastered her abilities Chann had shown that he was just like her just with a lot few abilities. As the years went on Lexi trained with the pack less and less and trained mostly in private with Chann. He taught her how to fight and use her abilities to protect herself. During these lessons Lexi realized that this was how she would avenge her parents, she would catch the men who killed her parents. Soon after her fifteenth birthday Chann had told her that she was ready. Ready to back into society and ready to face the men who left her all alone in the world with no true family left.
