Storyboard Text

  • I have learned from my mistakes youthful soul, the internet has yielded me many tools to realize my wrongs. An essay titled "Othello's Jealousy and the "Gate of Hell" has proven fruitful.
  • .."jealousy is a destructive cancer".. (Shurgot)
  • Hail, fancy meeting you here.. Don't be jealous of my pastry my lord.
  • Jealousy, it acts like a cancer, it starts small, but multiplies rapidly unless you impede it. Your young soul doesn't know of the strife. My fair wife, my true love Desdemona, fell victim to my jealousy, let me paint you a picture..
  • My Jealousy, my demise
  • I was... blinded by my jealousy, and the trickery of one petty knave, I now know better... I am sorry to say, but I smothered my wife in her slumber. My feeble mind fell prey to the silver-tounged Iago. My jealous mind which 'feared a loss of love" destroyed that very love..
  • My own insecurities led to my downfall, whether it was sexually, martially, or my vanity, I self-destructed, my fall from grace was miraculous.
  • Lies.. and I believed them
  • Cassio, my second in command is sleeping with my wife.. False
  • Iago the honest. False
  • My wife is a temptress and unfaithful. False
  • As you can see, I am no hero, I am no saint, I am not noble. I let words, which only proof was a hankerchief drive me insane. Dez was faithful, so was Cassio. The devil was not just in my ear whispering lies.. it was me.
  • Jealousy is a cancer terminal to any relationship. My marriage is not and will never be a curse. Farewell
  • Othello's life, what a tragedy! His simple mind couldn't see through the fog that Iago created. Desdemona was faithful, in fact, this article suggests that she may have been a virgin (supported by Desdemona asking Emilia to put wedding sheets on bed). Jealousy has no need in a relationship, faithfulness is there, there's no need to look, it's the looking that drove Othello insane, and would drive anyone insane. trust your partners.
