  • At the Beginning, King Dasaratha is confronted with a request from a former King,Viswamithra, to take Rama and his brother to Sidhasrama with him to do a sacrifice.
  • Viswamithra asked them to bring their best weapon and began their quest for fulfillment to Sidhasrama
  • Near the end of the quest, they meet a land that is very scorched and the sun never sets, Rama asks, "why is this land so terrible?" Viswamithra begins to tell them about the story of Thataka
  • Once a man and wife let children abuse their powers by pulling out trees and killing all creatures. The dad is killed because he mistreated the kids power, by a saint. The mother sought for revenge but was cursed by the saint,to breath fire and wish everything ill.
  • Since Dasaratha nurtures Rama and his brother because they are only children,he disagrees,but Viswamitha persuades the King to allow it.
  • Thataka threatens and yells at Rama for entering her Kingdom.
  • During the journey, Viswamithra and the two brothers reached a desert like region where all vegetation had dried and turned to dust. And stone and rock crumbled into powdery sand.
  • Thataka shot at Rama but he deflected the trident and killed Thataka with an arrow to the throat.
  • When he is finished, Rama asks where is she to be found.Ironically, before their feet, she emerges.
  • Rama is praised by the gods and the gods made Viswamithra give his powers of weaponry knowledge to Rama
  • Rama Hesitates to kill her due to the fact that even though she is more evil than the god of Death, he does not want to kill a woman.
  • Rama has completed his life mission of destroying evil.
  • Gods of various weapons appear before Rama and begin to obey him
