Storyboard Text

  • I'm looking for some lovely pollen from flowers.
  • The bee visits many flowers of the same species and collects pollen from the anther: the male roproductive part.
  • Ooo. A beautiful flower full of delicious pollen.
  • When the bee lands on another flower of the same species, the pollen recieved from the previous flower reaches the stigma and travel to the ovaries. This fertilises the flower.
  • Seedlings develop from the embryo. The ovule wall hardens to form a tough, protective case and the tissue around the seed often turn into fruit.
  • An animal will eat the seeds then takes them to another location where he excretes them causing new plants to grow.
  • Yum yum
  • A shrub begins to grow and the cycle starts all over again
