The Decline of Feudalism by Jaden Domingo
Adrie lives in the Medieval Ages. She has learned that recently there has been an outbreak of something called the Bubonic Plague or the Black Death.
The Bubonic Plague was spread through fleas full with bacteria. The bacteria comes from dead rodents such as rats and mice. The fleas would jump from place to place one place being the dead rodents to an animal and even a human being. The fleas would create a black and blue blotch or patch on your skin.
Adrieś parents forbid her from going outside to prevent the Bubonic Plague from getting to her. What they did not know was that her cat had the bubonic plague being curious around the rodent. Adrie saw the fleas on her cat from adistance so she ran outside.
In fright, Adrie ran to the city to seek help for the infection. Sadly, there was none. Many people were dying and she was scared she might as well as the others. She stayed away from her cat and others who had the plague.
The Bubonic Plague contributed to the decline of feudalism because it killed many innocent people and was traumatizing for family and friends.
The rulers maintained and obtained power by bringing laws to stop the free movement of farm labour and fining employers who paid more.
