Storyboard Text

  • When is this going to end? I just want to be able to drive my kids to school.
  • I have no idea. I just want to be able to travel without asking my father, i'm 31 years old!
  • It was fun, but all my friends are going on vacation this summer. I want to go somewhere too!
  • Hi sweetie! How was your last day of school?
  • Why? Please mom.
  • I know, but remember I told you we can't travel unless I ask my father. I'm sorry!
  • Everyday there is something new on the T.V., today we found out that we have to wait until June to be able to drive on our own. We still have to ask if we want to go anywhere. It makes everyday life so difficult.
  • We have got to do something! I am carrying bricks on my shoulders or at least thats how it feels. My daughter wants me to take her on a trip and I don't want to let her down. Let's go protest!
  • The Coffee Shop
  • I agree! I need the ability to drive too, its hard getting my kids to school and their sports games.
  • Oh no! This is what I feared. There is no way we can travel anywhere this year.
  • The government will wish they had never placed this ban on us all these years. A change needs to be made soon!
  • This ban on driving and traveling is a sickness. Just when you think it is getting better, it turns around and ends up getting worse.
  • How will I explain this to her? She is too young to understand.
  • Don't worry, sooner or later we will get what we deserve!
  • You will need to stay here a few days. This will teach you not to protest against the government!
  • What am I going to do now? What will I tell my daughter?
  • We knew it was time to protest, things were just getting too complicated.
  • We began our protest by driving. We are aware of the consequences we might face, but a change needs to be made.
  • We then were arrested and put in jail. But, only for a few days because we had children at home to take care of. This wasn't going to be the end. We know we deserve the right to drive and travel.
