The Frankenstein storyboard represents two of the four main themes in Frankenstein. The themes shown in the storyboard are,"Nature acts as a soothing, healing force," and "Too much knowledge, urged on by the desire for fame, has bad consequences."

  • Nature acts as a soothing, healing force
  • Victor stated that the beautiful scenes of nature, gave him the greatest consolation he could ever receive, even after he created a monster.
  • Victor's health was restored by being outside, and observing nature with his friend Clerval.
  • Too much knowledge, urged on by the desire for fame, has bad consequences
  • Victor went into solitude, to protect his loved ones, after he sought too much knowledge and created a monster, who destroyed his family, and made his life miserable.
  • Robert Walton wanted to travel to the north for knowledge, and was urged on by the desire for fame, if he did not turn around, there would have been mutiny on his ship.
