Ada Lovelace was born in London, United Kingdom. On December 10, 1815. She lived in London her whole life.
Ada Lovelace only had one sister named Allegra Byron. Her parents were Lord Bryon and Anne Isabella Byron. Lord Byron left England, and Ada never saw her father after he left. Sadly he died in Greece when she was 8 years old.

Ada showed her gift for mathematics at a very young age. She also had an upbringing for an aristocratic girl in the mid 1800's. Ada showed a love for numbers and language. She was one of the first women to enter the Royal Astronomical Society. Around age 17, Ada met Charles Babbage, a mathematician and inventor. Ada was fascinated by Babbage's ideas.
Ada Lovelace married William King, in 1835. They had three children together. One girl and two boys, their names were Anne Blunt, Byron King-Noel and Ralph King-Milbanke.
Ada Lovelace was a famous mathematician and computer programer. Ada described how codes could be made for the device to handle letters and symbols aslo including numbers. She also created a method for the engine to repeat a series of instructions.
Ada invention helps us now because when we are setting a laptop to functuation we follow her rules to set it up. Also when you type she made a code so the letters you type on your keyboard appear on the screen.
