This is my math Cartoon
Guys! Before we go on and on, let's remember how to do the order of operations!
Hey, Exponents I go first
Well, I guess that you're right...
Well, the P in BPEMDAS stands for parentheses. Naturally, we would solve everything in the parentheses second, as I come after Brackets.
Well, the B in BPEMDAS is often forgotten. Yet before you do anything, you solve everything in the brackets first.
Next, the E in BPEMDAS stands for exponents. After we solve everything in the brackets and the parentheses, we would solve the exponents in the problem.
Don't forget about me! The M in BPEMDAS stands for multiplication. After we've done the previous steps, we multiply. Yet, it's a little bit more complex than that. My friend, D, will tell you more about the rules!
Thanks M! I'm D, and I stand for division in BPEMDAS. Now, the rules get a little bit more complex. If the multiplication comes before the division in the problem, you do the multiplication first. If the division comes before the multiplication in a problem, you do the division first.
Now, after you've done all of the other steps, you have to move on to addition and subtraction. Im A, and I stand for addition in BPEMDAS. I'll let my friend, S, tell you about how you do the addition and subtraction.
