The train represents his Journey in life. Being thrown out of the train is a wake-up call for him to realize how fast life goes by.
His wallet would mean he reached adulthood since there was a bank check. The picture of the girl would suggest that he got married.
Bank Check $$$$$$$$$
The Motorcar and the chauffeur would mean that he was a rich person. The car helped him realise he has a house, since he believed he was rich.
He saw a beautiful woman but the next day she was gone, and the bed was cold, like a tomb. This would represent the death of his wife.
The old reflection of himself would represent the time when he reaches old age. He couldn't believe he was already old and thought it was a dream.
When he sees his children sprouting out white hair, this resembles how fast his children seem to grow up.
