Conflict: "No General, I will not hunt" (Connell 73).
Rising Action: "I have played the fox, now I must play the cat of the fable" (Connell 75). "You'rve done well Rainsford... your Burmese Tiger Trap has claimed one of my best dogs" (Connell 78). "He caught hold of a springy young sapling, and to it he fastened his hunting knife with the blade pointing down the trail..." (Connell 79).
Climax: "Then he ran for his life" (Connell 79).
Falling Action: "Rainsford hesitated... then he leaped far out into the sea" (Connell 80).
Resolution: "One of us is to furnish as a repast, the other will sleep in this excelent bed... he had never slept in a better bed, Rainsford decided" (Connell 80).
Theme: It's not always fun to be hunted
