Storyboard Text

  • Dido is the daughter of a great Phoenician king.
  • Sister, do you see that very handsome man over there? I think that you should get his attention.
  • But Anna, I promised my dead husband that I would remain faithful to him.
  • She marries a handsome man named Acerbas and they travel to found a new city called Carthage
  • Oh no, it is raining. We should go into that cave BY OURSELVES to "Hide" from the rain.
  • But one day, Acerbas dies and Dido has been in mourning ever since.
  • Don't do it Dido!
  • Aeneas left me, and I feel guilty about cheating on dead husband. I must die.
  • Dido and Anna discuss the newcomer, Aeneas. Dido cannot decide wether or not to sleep with the strong and powerful Aeneas.
  • Dido decides to cheat on her husband with Aeneas.  They go into a cave and Dido cheats on her husband.
  • After Aeneas left, Dido builds a pyre out of his old things. She light it on fire, and then clambers on top of the burning heap. She then kills herself by falling on Aeneas' sword.
