Our group was tasked with doing our video over tripod and lights. Both items can help make or break your video and each one has their own specific usage or purpose. Is used to stabilize and elevate a camera, a flash unit, or other photographic equipment; Used to both still and motion photography to prevent camera movement. All photographic tripods have 3 legs and a mounting head to couple with a camera. The tripod also makes the camera stop shaking. The positioning of the three feet away from the vertical center allows the tripod better leverage for resisting lateral forces. There are 7 reasons we use tripods: 1.When taking night time shots and sunsets. 2.When you need to be flexible. 3.When you are taking close up shots. 4.When you are taking action shots and doing sport photography. 5.When you are doing nature photography. 6.When you are using a telephoto tens. 7. When you need to be creative. The use of light in a video can be the deciding factor of whether that video will be spectacular or terrible. When you use your camera to automatically chose aperture and shutter speed, what your camera is actually doing is using the built in light meter and measuring how much light is being reflected to the camera. But that doesn't mean that's all there is to it . You should also think about the angle of the light entering the frame, what kind of shadow you want, and whether you want to use fill-in-flash. If you are shooting at night you can create all sorts of cool effects like lights in motion, pictures with moonlight, or silhouettes. And this is how tripod and lights affect video and even photography.
