The never ending adventures of Droppy
When it starts out with water, the particles inside are able to flow.
Just another day here in the river.
Oh man it is getting hot over here, Oh no! I am starting to evaporate! I learned about this in drop school, the suns heat is hitting the water and it is transforming into gas!
The particles inside a gas are moving around everywhere, when kinetic energy/heat is added, the particles start doing this.
I also learned about transpiration, that is when the water from the leaves of plants evaporate. As I evaporate and turn into gas I become smaller.
The water needs to become very small in order to become a cloud, so it shrinks as it evaporates and there has to be a lot of gas to create a entire cloud.
Now that I am a gas, I start loosing energy and we stick to the dust in the air and since there are a billion of us now, we start becoming clouds. This is condensation.
Due to the cold temperature in the cloud, we start turning into liquid again, once again condensation, but this time we are much bigger than before, because we like each other so more of us link together, this is called cohesion. But I forgot what comes next! Maybe I should have payed attention in class!
