  • The Road Back
  • The Ordeal is that Luke and his friends have to save Princess Leia and bring her back to the rebellion safely. When a trash compactor was just about to crush all of them, they managed to follow through in surviving and succeeding in a sense of a death and rebirth to save Princess Leia from the Empire.
  • Luke seized the sword or accomplished the goal that he wanted to succeed in doing. Luke finally became a fighter pilot for the rebel forces and felt honored in doing so. This represents seizing the sword. Also, the rebel fighter star ships are outlined in read to show sacrifice for the cause of the rebellion.
  • Luke and his companions successfully suppressed the empire by destroying the Death Star. Instead of going back to Luke's home in Tatooine, he decides to take on the greater good and continue fighting for the rebel forces. To Luke, coming back to the rebel forces was the same was following the road back home.
