  • China Joins the War
  • The People's Volunteer Army, let us help North Korea and push the U.S. and South Korea back!
  • The UN launches "Home By Christmas" Mission
  • If we move them up to the Yalu River now they would be able to make it home by Christmas.
  • Sounds good let's launch Mission Home by Christmas now then!
  • General Douglas MacArthur Fired
  • Citizen's of the United States of America, I disagree with President Truman, I think that we should drop the bomb on China.
  • No it will just cause an even bigger war! You're fired!!
  • In October of 1950, The People's Republic of China joined the war on the North Korean side. Their army, People's Volunteer Army, won many important battles. These victory battles are important because they helped North Korea by pushing the U.S. and South Korea further back to the 38th Parallel.
  • The Battle of Heartbreak Ridge Begins
  • I had the generals say this because in late November 1950, General MacArthur ordered the United Nation forces to move further towards the Yalu River in hopes that they will return home by Christmas. They were attacked by 180,000 Chinese troops and had to retreat.
  • Dwight Eisenhower is Elected President.
  • I, General Dwight. Eisenhower will end the Korean War if I am elected.
  • I had General MacArthur and President Truman argue about about whether or not to drop a bomb on China. General MacArthur publicly disagrees with President Truman saying they should bomb China. He is then fired because President Truman believes that bombing China would cause a bigger war.
  • End Result - North and South Korea agree to a truce.
  • Want to just end the war and call it a truce?
  • In September of 1951, U.S. and French troops start a battle with North Korean and Chinese troops. This battle lasted a month long with a win for U.S. and France. The battle of Heartbreak Ridge costed China and North Korea 25,000 soldiers.
  • General Dwight Eisenhower versus Illinois Senator Adlai Stevenson to become president of the United States. In November of 1952, General Eisenhower wins when he says he will end the Korean War in his campaign.
  • I had these people say this because after three years of fighting the bloody fight of the Korean War; the United States, The People's Republic of China, South Korea, and North Korea, agreed to an artistic or truce, which ended the Korean War in late July of 1953.
  • Fine.
  • Sure, whatever.
