When the world was young, Bear owned fire. Fire kept Bear and his people warm on cold nights. Fire also gave light when it was dark.
One day Bear and his people came to a very large forest. They found acorns on the ground and began eating them. Bear and his people wanted more and more acorns.
Bear set fire down on the edge of the forest. Bear and his people continued eating and searching for more acorns. These acorns were the tastiest ones they had ever had.
The farther into the woods Bear and his people traveled, the tastier the acorns became. So Bear and his people wandered farther and farther into the forest. They were soon very far from Fire.
The fire soon got out of hand and escaped it's containment. The fire spread from tree to tree and grew bigger and bigger. There was no one to stop Fire.
It wasn't too long before Fire engulfed the entire forest. Most of the trees were burnt down and the forest was destroyed. Bear and his people were nowhere to be found.
