  • I'm good, Ms. Del Bosque! I'm really into my book!
  • Gradual Release of In-Class Modifications
  •     How are you doing, Billy?      Great! Keep it up!
  • Ms. Del Bosque, can we read for a little longer?!
  • The End
  • Fantastic job, everyone!!!
  • Ms. Del Bosque, can you speak quietly? We're working! 
  • Practice sessions did not change Billy's behaviors, so we will move to the next level of support. I  made Billy an office out of tape and provided him with timers, manipulatives, and comic books as alternative reading materials. He works in the office the whole time but can take brain brains to play with his Legos or read his comics in between. He uses the timers to help him visually keep track of his stamina.
  • "Walking-to-my-next-conference" with Mario, I stop by to do a quick check-in with Billy. He now reads for longer periods of time without his Legos or his comic books.
  • The students' stamina is increasing!
