  • INCITING INCIDENT

  • i know its none of my business but what do you do?
  • Setting; June 1970's London, England Characters; Narrator (Roald) and The hitchhiker (rat faced man)
  • During this scene the narrator is driving down the side of the highway and sees a hitchhiker, they make small talk and he decides to give him a lift.
  • They are on their way and the narrator asks lots of questions to the hitchhiker which he does not answer. Roald claims his car can go 129 miles per hour so the hitchhiker makes him prove it. Shortly after they hear sirens and get pulled over for speeding and the cop jots down their information
  • In the Climax Roald finds out the hitchhikers real job, a pickpocketer or a finger smith. The hitchhiker had been taking things the whole time and he had no idea
  • CLIMAX
  • The Hitchhiker tells Roald the reason he is going to the derby race is because that's where all the rich people go and that way he can find the right customer to take from
  • FALLING ACTION
  • At the end the hitchhiker shows the driver that he stole the officers books which included the information about them. He reassured him he had nothing to worry about and was not going to the slammer.
  • RESOLUTION
