Oh no! I could barely afford all of those clothes without interest. Now with all of these penalty fees I'm completely in the red!
I better check my credit score. It needs to be high if I ever want to buy a house or a car.

Oh no! All this reckless spending and not paying the credit company back has made me develop a negative credit history! And my credit score is terrible!
Okay, Sarah, its clear you weren't ready for a credit card but its only the end of the world if you make it that way. While its going to take some time, you will be able to improve your credit score with good habits like, paying your bills on time and applying for credit sparingly.
Wow dad! Who would've thought that after my credit score scare I would be buying my own house!
You see Sarah, its so important to have a positive credit history because you can do anything with a good credit score...or maybe not anything. At least you'll have a low interest rate!
