british marched with 700 troops, left boston under command of General John Pitcarin. thye arived on the morning of april 19th, 1775 to find rebels waiting for them.
The colonial militia prepared to defend them selves against the british after hearing they would be coming to town looking for samuel adams and john hancock
the british met with the colonial militia in both lexington and concord and the shot heard around the world started the colonists path to victory, to this day no one knows
