Storyboard Text

  • Today's News
  • A small kid is sitting in front of a tv, news reports take over the screen. They quickly flip by and they’re news stories from all types of sources(CNN, Fox, local news). The news stories are all of hate and violence. Police brutality, hate crimes, violence caused by the election.
  • "The Shoot-Me State" "Anti-Trump Protests" "We Can't Fight It" "Mom Kills Autistic Teen"
  • Everything freezes and switches to the next scene.
  • Teenagers are on their phones, scrolling through social media. The screen becomes like a phone screen.
  • Our voices are reading the headlines, but they scroll by faster until our voices are overlapping in an unintelligible way. Again, Everything freezes, and once again, we have a new scene
  • Kids are walking down the road. The screen shows protests and riots and other sorts of street violence. The videos aren’t shown like news reports, just videos taken and released by witnesses.
  • The screen goes black. Words appear, and a voice reads with them. It’s the voice of our candidate. She says “Our future is watching… Be the change they need. Vote Young.”
